We are looking for a National Key Accounts Sales Manager to lead a team of three National Account Managers split by retail banners, grocery and wholesale channels. This newly created role will be reporting into the Sales Director and will develop and oversee the management of key customer relationships including trading terms and ranging negotiations. As a member of senior management team you will contribute to the development of overall business plans, strategy and management of total business performance.
The successful applicant will have already gained experience in a National Business Manager role within a major FMCG company including experience within the grocery sector. Due to the importance of the role, you will have achieved significant success to date with a proven track record of growing business, leading change and implementation of a high performing team, and developed strong customer relationships. You will enjoy problem solving and demonstrate leading an engaged and empowered key accounts team.
Your understanding of sales disciplines and account management are key to making an impact, as is your ability to think strategically. You'll already have gained exposure to a relatively structured sales environment and therefore developed a methodical approach to setting strategy and identifying issues and opportunities.
