Due to this organisations continued growth in NZ we are now seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join their business partnership team in Auckland.
Reporting to the Managing Director your primary responsibility will be to build a strong business strategy for the New Zealand business and determine areas for expansion. Your mandate is to identify significant prospects and develop strategic partnerships. You will be accountable for meeting revenue targets through gaining a thorough understanding of the companies business needs and effectively develop complex strategic solutions. This business critical information will help determine your client's strategic direction and business planning and will therefore require someone who can successfully deal with senior executive level clients.
This role goes beyond the traditional boundaries of a Business Development Manager and presents an opportunity for truly entrepreneurial methodology's to be considered and applied when identifying the continual development of this organisation. As a result you will be providing input to all facets of the business through to senior management level and will therefore be confident to sell complex solutions, negotiate service level agreements and ensure the best outcome for all parties involved.
You will be a strong communicator with the ability to influence others, develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders and to in to ensure that the presentation and consequent execution of service exceeds client's expectations.
In this capacity the Senior Business Development Manager has the prime responsibility to act as the focal point for mobilising this organisations resource to increase profitability through the generation of a sustainable client portfolio.
Critical to the role is the ability to work autonomously and take ownership. As a key influencer within the business you will enjoy building relationships and gaining business critical information from others.
You will ideally be tertiary qualified and will possess extensive sales experience at a corporate B2B level. Proven experience within financial services sector nationally or internationally would be advantageous but is not essential.
