Our client, based in Auckland CBD, is looking for a Mergers and Acquisitions guru to join their finance team.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance your role will be to provide support to the Corporate Finance team by assisting with target identification, undertaking plenty of analysis work and being involved in transaction execution. You will also be heavily involved in modelling and creating spreadsheets in Excel and presentations in PowerPoint.
You will ideally have worked in a large corporate where you have gained extremely strong modelling skills topped with strong accounting knowledge or you may also have proven experience in an M&A environment within an Investment Bank. A Big 4 background within corporate finance will be favoured; this role will suit someone with 4-5years post qualified experience.
You will have advanced Excel skills and your written and oral communication skills will be second to none. The ability to work to high standards and be able to set priorities and meet tight deadlines is imperative.
