The Corporate Finance team plays a critical role and is currently going through a transformation process that is focused on delivery process efficiency, business performance and improving the overall customer experience.
The Ministry has created a new role for a Senior Financial Analyst. This position is critical to the Corporate Finance Area and will focus on delivering high quality management information, working proactively across the Finance team and wider Ministry. To be successful in this role you will have significant experience providing senior analytical support to management and other key personnel. You will have superior ability to analyse and manipulate both financial and non financial information with extensive knowledge of technical applications and tools that enable you to do this.
This role is responsible for a Finance Analyst, so the ability to communicate and coach effectively will be essential. Providing sound leadership and supporting the Finance team to build its analytical capability are critical elements of this role. You will hold a relevant tertiary qualification and may have an industry recognised qualification (eg CA, ACA CPA etc) or the ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of business analysis in a complex environment.
