The Corporate Finance team plays a critical role and is currently going through a transformation process that is focused on delivery process efficiency, business performance and improving the overall customer experience.
The Ministry of Justice is currently recruiting for a Financial Performance Specialist to work with Corporate Finance and the Operations Group to support the sound financial management of courts, tribunals and other specialist jurisdictions and the collection of fines and infringements. The individual is responsible for supporting the financial management of a portfolio of operating units and working alongside the Operations Finance team.
To be successful in the role it is critical that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different business units across the Ministry. You will be seen as a link between Corporate Finance and the Operations Group providing assistance and advice, but at the same time offering a 'second line of sight' on operational performance and implementation of value for money initiatives. You will have the ability to build trust and respect with peers and managers through providing intelligent solutions and analysis whilst using a tactful and diplomatic approach. The successful individual will have a finance related tertiary education and will be CA qualified or equivalent. It would be highly advantageous to have significant, appropriate experience in a similar role and environment.
