Our client, an iconic and highly respected alcoholic beverage company is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their Operations team. Being a dominant player in their sector they manufacture and distribute market leading brands and are entering a new and exciting phase of strategy and growth.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager Operations your duties will include:
- Preparation of Bills of Materials and Costings for new products and maintenance of existing records
- Analysis of manufacturing variances; presentation of Operations performance for the monthly Management pack
- Preparation of monthly Excise returns
- Provide ad-hoc analysis where required to drive key continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide general financial accounting assistance when required
You will be degree qualified with at least 2 years accounting experience within a manufacturing background. This role requires a person with enthusiasm and passion for the product they work with.
As an ATO you can complete you practical experience for your CA requirements and gain great industry experience.
