Senior Health and Safely Advisor

In this role you will take a leadership role in helping CentrePort achieve its goal of becoming a "zero harm" environment. You will be pivotal in developing and implementing the safety strategy, proactively contributing to a true safety culture.
This position has broad areas of accountability and will be interesting due to The diversity of the environment.
The purpose of the role is to:
- Provide expertise and advice to the business on Health & Safety legislation, measures and strategies
- Ensure that CentrePort's Health & Safety programme, procedures and practices meet all national and industry rule requirements
- Review external compliance requirements impacting on CentrePort in respect of Health & Safety
You will have an in-depth operational working knowledge of Health & Safety and consider yourself a subject matter expert. You will have experience in providing expert advice in a similar high risk environment. Your communication and relationship management skills are critical to your success in the position.
