Reclaim is New Zealand’s largest privately owned commercial recycling company employing over 100 people. They operate facilities in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch collecting and processing recyclables which are used locally and internationally. Head office is located in Penrose, they are centrally located with free parking.
This Accounts Receivable / Payable Officer is suitable for someone who wants to apply their strong transactional accounting skills to a complex and challenging role. The Accounts Receivable / Payable Officer is responsible for the operation and control of receivables and buyer controlled invoice processing. This busy role requires someone with a hard working and can do attitude that is able to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Month End Rollover
- Run Invoice / Statement process.
- Generate Buyer Controlled (BCI) Invoices
- Prepare BCI payments
- Compile Monthly Performance Reports
- Manage Debtors.
- Complete monthly Reconciliations
- Interval & External Customer Queries
- Raise Miscellaneous Charges & Credits
Key Requirements
- Accounting experience in a similar high volume role
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the company
- Strong excel skills
- The ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to build good working relationships with other team members
