We have partnered up with a much loved New Zealand charity organisation to recruit for their next Senior Finance Administrator.
A large and very well known and respected New Zealand charity organisation is on the hunt for a Senior Finance Administrator to join their Finance and Administration team. This role will support the Finance & Administration Manager with a range of month end, reporting, budget and accounts duties. The Senior Finance Administrator will also be preparing Tax (GST, FBT & PAYE) and will be responsible for sole charge payroll.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process/update monthly account reconciliations.
- Enter journals relating to monthly account reconciliations or requested changes/corrections.
- Prepare accurate and timely fortnightly payroll information for confirmation by the Finance & Administration Manager.
- Prepare accurate and timely leave reports for line managers and provide administration support for the leaver process.
- Prepare Goods and Services Tax (GST), Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) and Pay As You Earn (PAYE) returns and reconciliations for sign off by F&A Manager.
- Liaise with F&A Manager to ensure all company IRD obligations are met on time and accurately.
- Provide regular reports to the F&A Manager.
- Assist with the production of monthly management accounts.
- Distribute relevant reports to all project leads or Leadership Team.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders which ensure a high degree of cohesion and a team approach.
- Finance/Accounts administration (back up support, as and when required).
- Back up support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Process General Ledger bank reconciliation journals.
Key Requirements:
- Background of working in a Finance department is essential, preferably with extensive experience of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable functions and administrative duties.
- Must be able to perform data input activities quickly and accurately.
- Must be computer-literate and be able to pick-up the operations of new software packages
quickly. - Professional standards of written and verbal communication, general office and business
administrative skills. - High level of attention to detail and time management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan ahead whilst still being able to adjust to
constantly changing work priorities. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and work with a wide
range of individuals in a diverse environment. - Proven understanding of accounting concepts and experience with accounting software
e.g. Attaché. - Proven knowledge and experience in the following: Microsoft Office Suite specifically, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint. Accounting packages such as, Attache, iPayroll, MYOB Advanced, Xero and Customer Relationship Management software.
