Associate Investment Business Partner

Spark's Networks and IT Investment Chapter is looking for an Associate Investment Business Partner to help them balance the technical and commercial outcome of programmes. They look after a large capital expenditure budget and are charged with leading the trade-offs between customer requirements, technology, execution, and available capital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse technology and its lifecycle, performance, capacity, and coverage to develop multi-year investment plans
• Work on asset management plans for key platforms and assets to ensure performance
• Advise the business in relation to the investment of funds that will achieve short-term, medium-term, and long-term objectives
• Make the appropriate trade-offs in decision making to ensure premium customer outcomes and delivering optimum shareholder return

Key Requirements:

• Relevant degree (accounting, finance, engineering) or similar qualification
• Two or more years experience within assurance, advisory or external audit
• Strong understanding of contracts
• The intuitive ability to think beyond the numbers in certain situations
• Experience or familiarity with capital budgets and an interest in technology
