What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our client's financial operations. You will be responsible for coordinating, analysing, and reporting on the company's financial performance to various stakeholders. Your leadership skills will be crucial in managing a team of six finance professionals. You will also ensure that the company's financial systems are robust enough to support both current activities and future growth. Your role will involve preparing various tax returns as well as developing strategic financial forecasts. Additionally, you will manage the budgeting process from preparation to monitoring adjustments.
- Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure
- Coordinate, analyse, and report the financial performance to management, partners and the Board
- Ensure that the firm's financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth
- Lead and manage a finance team of six, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship
- Prepare and file Inland Revenue Department tax returns, fringe benefit returns and resident withholding tax returns
- Develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements
- Prepare and present monthly and annual financial statements
- Manage budgeting processes, including budget preparation, monitoring, and adjustments

The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings proven experience from a similar leadership role within the professional services industry. As a CA/CPA or equivalent qualified finance professional, you possess an in-depth knowledge of corporate finance principles, laws, best practices as well as strong analytical skills. Your excellent leadership abilities coupled with your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively manage a team and present complex financial information in a clear, understandable manner. Your strong organisational and time management skills will be crucial in prioritising and managing workloads.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or a similar leadership role from the legal industry
- CA/CPA or equivalent qualified finance professional with an in-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to present complex financial information clearly and effectively
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workloads
