What you'll do:
As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our client's business. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include ensuring that all transactional accounting tasks are carried out accurately and promptly. You will prepare profit and loss account sheets, assist in month-end processes, provide support to the Management Accountant / Finance Manager and Business Support Team. Additionally, you will undertake detailed reviews of profit and loss statements for different teams, assist in preparing Ad Hoc Financial Reports such as KPI’s, Month End Results, Variance Analysis among others. Furthermore, you will collate and review financial information for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
- Ensure accurate and timely transactional accounting
- Financial Control around inventory
- Prepare profit and loss account sheets
- Assist in month-end processes
- Provide support to the Financial Controller, Supply Chain and Operations team
- Undertake detailed review of profit and loss statements for the Division
- Assist in preparing Ad Hoc Financial Reports (KPI’s, Month End Results, Variance Analysis, etc)
- Collate and review financial information for budgeting and forecasting purposes
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Analyst position brings a wealth of experience in finance and accounting. You possess a tertiary level qualification in Accounting or Business studies along with proven working knowledge of the general ledger. Your proficiency in MS Office including Microsoft Word and Excel is at an intermediate to advanced level. You have exposure to all facets of finance and accounting which equips you with a comprehensive understanding of the field. Your high attention to detail coupled with strong data entry skills ensures accuracy in all your tasks. Lastly, your ability to work under strict time constraints enables you to meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Tertiary level qualification in Accounting or Business studies
- Proven working knowledge of the general ledger
