Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role within the finance team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting while providing valuable insights to senior stakeholders. This hands-on role will give you full ownership of financial and management reporting, process improvements, and internal controls. You will collaborate with both finance and operational teams to enhance financial performance, drive efficiency's, and equip key decision-makers with the necessary financial data.

  • Preparation of monthly financial and management reports, including balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide meaningful insights to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance financial processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling initiatives.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to explain financial performance and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Maintain clean, accurate, and well-documented accounting records.
  • Assist in implementing best-practice financial policies and procedures.

Key Requirements:

The ideal Financial Accountant candidate brings proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a corporate finance environment. Your strong analytical skills will enable you to interpret and communicate financial data effectively. With excellent attention to detail, you can manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Your strong interpersonal skills will allow you to engage with stakeholders at all levels. A proactive mindset coupled with a drive for continuous improvement will set you apart.

  • CA/CPA qualified (or working towards) with a strong foundation in financial and management accounting.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a corporate finance environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Experience with financial systems and strong Excel skills.
