A Wellington based Tech company is searching for a Finance Assistant who thrives in a fast-moving, high-performance environment. If you’re organised, detail oriented, and ready to support a dynamic finance function operating across multiple entities, this is your opportunity to step into a role where every day counts.

About the Role

As a key member of the Finance team, you’ll support day‑to‑day financial operations and help ensure seamless internal processes across the business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing accounts payable invoices in expected time frames
  • End-to-end accounts receivable management
  • Managing accounts and billing inboxes and finance-related communication channels
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Responding to customer accounts queries
  • Preparing GST returns
  • Processing intercompany transfers and reconciliations
  • Supporting payroll processing (including commission and on-call calculations)
  • Handling employee expense claims
  • Collaborating with Customer Experience teams to ensure smooth provisioning-to-billing workflows
  • Providing general support to senior finance staff and management

This is a role where your efficiency, accuracy, and initiative will directly contribute to smooth financial operations.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience working with Xero
  • Strong capability using Excel
  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
  • The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent self‑management skills
  • A strong work ethic, reliability, and confidence in your own ability
  • The ability to prioritise and adapt within a constantly evolving environment
