Financial Reporting Accountant

This role offers you the chance to be the face of Finance within the region, working closely with a global finance operations team dedicated to amplifying value and driving operational excellence. You will play a pivotal part in delivering coordinated financial reporting, analysis, and insights to senior management and subsidiary boards, while fostering positive partnering relationships across the business.

About the Role:

As the Financial Reporting Accountant, you will:

• Serve as a key contact within the region, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver coordinated financial insights.
• Review month-end financial results, including provisions, balance sheet accounts, and P&L performance, adding value to company management and boards.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and analysis while implementing future-fit financial controls within an ERP system.
• Provide accounting advice, prepare board reports, and support external audit engagements.
• Mentor and lead a team of Finance professionals while fostering positive relationships across Finance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and manage changes effectively to support successful execution of Finance operations.

About You:

You are:

• CA-qualified, with solid experience in financial accounting/auditing from professional services or large multi-national organisations.
• Analytical and detail-oriented, confident in ensuring data integrity while translating numbers into actionable insights for senior management and subsidiary boards.
• A forward-thinking leader who thrives on inspiring others, driving positive change, and amplifying value through process optimisation and communication.
• Comfortable leading remotely located team members and building high-trust stakeholder relationships.
