Our client is seeking a Commercial Business Partner to join their dynamic team. You will work closely with stakeholders, provide commercial advice to bid leaders, and analyse monthly management accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of tax legislation, accounting standards and compliance issues. What you'll do:

As a Commercial Business Partner, your primary responsibility will be leading the performance of various projects, clients and market segments. You will collaborate with the credit controller to identify areas that require focus in terms of working capital. Your expertise will be crucial in providing commercial advice to bid leaders, including strategic pricing suggestions. Throughout the lifecycle of a project, your insights and solutions will be invaluable. You will also analyse monthly management accounts for the business line, providing key insights into financial performance. Furthermore, you will guide Section Managers, Operations Managers and General Managers in preparing annual financial plans and quarterly forecasts.

  • Lead the performance of projects, clients and market segments
  • Work with credit controller to identify areas of working capital requiring focus

  • Provide insights throughout the lifecycle of a project
  • Analyse monthly management accounts for the business line
  • Lead Section Managers, Operations Managers and General Managers in financial planning


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Commercial Business Partner role will bring a wealth of knowledge from a relevant tertiary qualification in business or a related area of study. She will have significant experience dealing with tax legislation, accounting standards and compliance issues. Her strong written and verbal communication skills will enable her to effectively liaise with various stakeholders within the organisation. An exceptional attention to detail is crucial for this role as it involves analysing complex financial data. Lastly, her ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with the business line management team will contribute greatly to her success in this role.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business or related area of study
  • Significant knowledge and experience in tax legislation, accounting standards and compliance issues
