Senior Management Accountant

The successful candidate will help build financial management capability and confidence within the organisation. This position is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in senior management roles.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a finance expert, offering respected advice and guidance across the organisation.
• Build relationships and develop a deep understanding of the portfolio to deliver trusted financial advice.
• Assess commercial viability of investment decisions and articulate financial risks and opportunities.
• Lead initiatives to enhance the organisation's financial management capability.
• Design, deliver, and improve finance training material and guidance for all levels of the organisation.

Qualifications:

• A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
• Over 4 years of finance experience with proven project and advisory experience in senior management roles.
• CAANZ Chartered Accountant Qualification (or equivalent).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player with leadership capabilities and ability to influence decision-makers.
• Experience using office software including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
