Finance Business Partner

What You'll Do

  • Own month-end reporting processes and deliver timely, insightful financial analysis that enables informed decision-making across the site.
  • Build and maintain robust financial models that guide both strategic and operational decisions, including scenario analysis and support for new product development initiatives.
  • Review and manage financial inputs for new products to ensure accuracy, transparency, and alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Partner with operations teams to analyse throughput, yield, and labour efficiency while identifying opportunities for cost improvements within manufacturing processes.
  • Deliver forward-looking insights through comprehensive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis that highlight risks, opportunities, and key operational drivers.
  • Champion data accuracy by maintaining product and cost data integrity within ERP systems (D365), supporting reliable budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Support governance and audit requirements by documenting key assumptions, explaining business impacts clearly, and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
  • Track and influence key metrics by developing and reporting on financial and operational KPIs designed to monitor profitability and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements that enhance cost efficiency throughout the manufacturing site.

Key Experience Required:

  • CA/CPA or equivalent qualification is required to demonstrate your technical expertise in accounting standards relevant to commercial finance roles.
  • At least four years’ experience in commercial finance or business partnering positions within manufacturing or FMCG environments is essential for understanding industry-specific challenges.
  • A deep understanding of manufacturing processes, cost structures, and commercial drivers enables you to contribute effectively to operational decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel combined with strong financial modelling skills allows you to build accurate forecasts and scenario analyses tailored to business needs.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as D365 ensures you can maintain data integrity critical for budgeting and reporting functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills empower you to convey complex financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders while positively influencing outcomes.
  • Proven ability as an independent self-starter who identifies opportunities for process improvement demonstrates your commitment to continuous enhancement of business practices.
  • Strong analytical skills enable you to interpret large volumes of data accurately while highlighting key trends that impact profitability or productivity.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments fosters an inclusive approach towards achieving shared organisational goals.
