The Senior BAS Accountant role offers an exciting opportunity to work with clients to plan for sustainable business growth, identifying key business issues and creating effective solutions. What you'll do:

As a Senior BAS Accountant you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients' business growth. You will be responsible for:

• Work closely with clients to identify their business issues and create plans for sustainable growth
• Apply relevant accounting standards and pronouncements appropriately
• Determine the external reporting policies and expectations of entities
• Prepare complex financial statements with minimal review points
• Participate in managing the external reporting function
• Liaise with clients and prepare detailed management reports or letters
• Identify key reporting indicators and interpretations
• Prepare budgets, cash flows, and source and application of fund reports
• Understand the entity's tax profile and strategy, identifying tax planning opportunities

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior BAS Accountant role brings 3-4 years experience in business advisory services. The idea candidate will also have:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• CA or ACCA qualified
• Strong knowledge of business management principles, accounting products, procedures, practices, and standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MYOB, XERO
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to build relationships with diverse range of people
• Analytical thinking coupled with problem-solving abilities
