A market leader in the legal space is looking for an experienced AML Manager to join the team in a great central CBD location.
This organisation is a leading legal business here in New Zealand located in an Auckland central CBD location.
The role is a new position created to develop and implement an independent AML risk assessment programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the development and implementation of AML risk assessment programme;
- Assisting with carrying out AML obligations, including (for example) customer due diligence, suspicious activity reports, and ongoing training, annual reporting and auditing obligations; and
- Working closely with our legal and administrative staff and clients in relation to compliance with AML requirements.
- Reporting to senior management.
Key Requirements:
- Legal qualification;
- A strong academic record;
- AML experience is an advantage;
- Experience working in a private practice law firm is preferable;
May suit someone who is looking to work school hours (negotiable).
Take ownership of the AML function within a large legal business.
