A large banking and financial services company is looking for an experienced AML Investigator to join their compliance team in a Auckland CBD location.

This is a great opportunity for an individual with superior AML and strong financial services experience to join a prominent banking organisation in a AML Investigator role in a great Auckland CBD location. This organisation is a prominent banking and financial services business in New Zealand and around the world.

You will be responsible for investigating alerts generated by the various AML monitoring systems, and lodging reports in accordance with regulatory AML controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigation into assigned cases from various AML monitoring systems in accordance with agreed standards and service levels, including compliance with NZ AML CFT Act 2009
• Handling suspicious transactions
• Liaison with individuals and leaderships teams across all Lines of Business to gather information to assist in investigations and provide feedback to assist the business in managing AML Risk

Key Requirements:

• AML experience in banking preferably in a Compliance or investigative work
• Time Management
• Analytical / Investigative
• Systems Knowledge
• Attention to detail
