You will support product managers, product, and business owners to plan, resource and deliver in accordance with SAFe and Agile methodologies and Systems Development Lifecycles (SDLC). You will have clear expectations to work to and will take ownership of meeting those expectations and delivering value

• Determining the appropriate activities to complete a business analysis effort including identification of
stakeholders, selection of techniques and processes to manage requirements.
• Leading the identification and understanding of stakeholder needs and environment.
• Managing conflicts, issues and changes to ensure that stakeholders and the project team remain in
agreement on the solution scope.
• Identifying a business need and defining a solution scope that can feasibly be implemented by the
business. Defining problem and definition of solution.
• Assisting with the development of business cases and feasibility studies.
• Analysing and prioritising requirements to enable the project team to implement a solution that will
meet the needs of Toitū Te Whenua and stakeholders.
• Validating proposed solutions by continuing to assess which solution best fits the business need,
identifying gaps and shortcomings in solutions, and determining necessary workarounds or changes
to the solution.
• Working in a healthy and safe manner, in order to protect yourself, and the wellbeing and safety of all
people, in whatever capacity they work for, or engage with Toitū Te Whenua. This includes actively
participating in the development and continuous improvement of safe work practices



• Communicating to stakeholders and maintaining knowledge gained for future use.
• Using a structured approach to gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements,
including using tools to assist with the development of the documentation.
• Utilising your knowledge of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and SAFe as well as Agile and
DevOps delivery methodologies
• Demonstrating your experience, qualifications/accreditations in business analysis and Agile
• Building trusted relationships with stakeholders, customers and project teams
• Communicating to stakeholders and maintaining knowledge gained for future use.
• Facilitating user requirements, benefits and risk workshops.
• Communicating requirements through practical technical documentation and business case creation
