Business Analyst
An opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Business Analyst to join a public sector organisation on a fixed-term contract until June 2026, with a salary range of $90,000 to $115,000. This role is all about enhancing business operations through strategic planning, analysis, and the delivery of requirements for successful projects and events. You will be at the forefront of managing changes to business processes, systems, tools, and job roles.
What You'll Do:
As a Business Analyst, your expertise in process mapping using BPMN 2.0 will be crucial in understanding both current and future state processes. You'll work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate these into IT requirements and functionalities. Your ability to develop detailed user stories will contribute significantly to the successful delivery of IT change projects. Risk assessment is another key aspect of your role; you'll implement assurance controls and devise strategies to mitigate identified risks. Facilitating workshops and updating project plans will also be part of your responsibilities as you strive to align all activities with strategic objectives.
- Lead and execute process mapping initiatives using BPMN 2.0, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of current and future state processes.
