Programme Manager (Data & Analytics)

You will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of data and analytics solutions as well as working on impactful and innovative projects. This role offers great hybrid working benefits, CBD based office and the opportunity to work with down-to-earth, passionate people. To be successful in this role you will bring a wealth of experience in Programme and Project Delivery of a variety of data centric projects.

What you'll do:


As a Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in implementing data and analytics solutions using Agile methodology. You will lead your team with empathy, nurturing their skills while ensuring efficient delivery of business requirements. Your leadership will extend beyond your immediate team as you collaborate with other department managers on people-related matters. Your ability to communicate effectively will be crucial in maintaining high visibility of progress through tools such as project walls or dashboards. Your commitment to customer service will shine through as you include internal customers in cross-functional teams from the start of design processes. Your interpersonal skills will be put to good use as you establish networks with key stakeholders, enabling benchmarking, trend identification, and collaborative responses to emerging issues.

  • Motivate and support team members to deliver business efficiently and effectively
  • Lead the development, testing and implementation of modern applications, products and services through the use of digital and Agile approaches
  • Ensure effective high visibility communication of progress e.g. project wall/dashboard
  • Ensure internal customers are included in cross-functional teams from the start of design processes to ensure solutions are accepted and supported by the business
  • Establish and maintain effective networks and relationships with key stakeholders to enable benchmarking and monitoring, identification of trends, and collaboration on responses to emerging issues


What you bring:


The ideal candidate for this Delivery Manager role brings a wealth of experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of data analytics strategies and solutions. Your strong written and verbal communication skills will enable you to present ideas in a customer-centric and user-friendly language, ensuring that all stakeholders are on the same page. Your excellent interpersonal skills will be invaluable in fostering relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You have a proven ability to conduct and direct research into analytics technology issues and products, which will be crucial in keeping the organisation at the forefront of industry developments. Your analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities will be put to good use as you navigate the challenges of this role.

  • Proven experience as a Programme Manager/Delivery Manager in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of analytics strategies and data solutions
  • Extensive experience working on projects related to data, business intelligence, data middleware platforms, GIS, analytics, or a combination of these
  • Ability to drive a Delivery team
  • Previous Scrum Master experience is desired
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas in a customer centric and user-friendly language
  • Have a can-do, positive attitude with an innovative approach and be able to manage stakeholders efficiently
