Project Coordinator

Our client is seeking a proactive and positive Project Coordinator to join their team on a 12-month daily rate contract. This Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting a busy Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) and several Project Managers, sharing work with another Coordinator and ensuring smooth operations. This role requires someone who is systems and IT savvy, preferably with SAP experience, and has strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. The successful candidate will also need to be financially literate, having managed project financials previously (e.g. raising invoices and purchase orders). There are opportunities for progression for the right individual.

As a Project Coordinator, you will play an integral role in supporting a dynamic team, alongside another Senior PMO Coordinator. You will demonstrate your tech savviness by effectively utilising various systems, particularly SAP. Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide support to a Senior PMO Coordinator and team Project Managers, sharing work as required
• Monthly project financial management including raising invoices and purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner
• Collecting and formatting data for weekly project reporting
• Ensuring project schedules are maintained, risk and issue logs are in check
• Generate status reports using provided templates
• Maintain high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

The ideal candidate for the position brings a wealth of experience in project coordination or similar roles. They will possess strong IT skills, particularly in SAP, which they can leverage to ensure smooth operations within the team. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint enables them to create detailed reports efficiently. They have experience with project financials and reporting. Their proactive and positive attitude allows them to work effectively under pressure, while their excellent interpersonal skills enable them to collaborate seamlessly within a team.
