Senior Project Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager for an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension. This role will be instrumental in the development of a digital/data project. What you'll do:
As a Senior Project Manager, your primary role will be to drive the digital/data driven project forward. You'll engage with all parties involved, ensuring cross functional collaboration. You'll also be responsible for involving key stakeholders, collecting relevant data, providing training and support, and continuously monitoring performance.

• Drive the project by engaging with all internal and external parties (stakeholders, vendors etc)
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their specific data needs and prioritize requests accordingly.
• Involve key stakeholders, including GIS resources and transport authorities
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team
• Implement pilot projects in selected areas to test the digital twin in real-world conditions
• Provide training for staff and support for users
• Continuously monitor the performance of the project and evaluate its impact

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Project Manager role will have proven experience in managing complex projects within tight timelines and fostering a collaborative environment. You will have a good understanding and experience in working with agile methodologies. You will have the ability to engage with stakeholders effectively to ensure smooth collaboration across different teams. You will have proven leadership and mentorship abilities which will be key in leading the team towards success.

• An understanding of GIS systems is beneficial
• Experience working with agile practices and frameworks.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and ability to build strong relationships with diverse groups
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, effectively collaborating and negotiating with business stakeholders.
• Experience leading and coordinating technical projects particularly involving data (platform implementations etc), working closely with developers and engineers to ensure successful outcomes.
