This role is at the heart of their life & health insurance division, ensuring smooth, compliant, and customer-centric delivery of services. What you'll do:
As the Life and Health Operations Manager at ICIB Brokerweb, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of their life & health insurance division. Your main responsibility will be to help direct daily operations while ensuring that divisional services are delivered efficiently and compliantly. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Risk & Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to New Zealand's insurance regulations. Your dedication to continuous improvement will drive enhancements in our operational processes, ultimately leading to increased client satisfaction. Furthermore, your role involves developing extensive training programmes for our staff, providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles.
* Support the day-to-day operations of the life & health insurance division, ensuring that processes are streamlined and efficient.
* Create and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to boost productivity and service delivery.
* Manage the preparation and oversight of operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
* Assist the life & health leadership team by training and supporting the administration team members.
* Maintain exceptional client service by upholding high standards of communication, responsiveness, and problem-solving.
* Work closely with the Senior Risk & Compliance Manager to ensure all operations comply with New Zealand insurance regulations.
* Continuously evaluate and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase client satisfaction.
* Develop and manage comprehensive training programmes for staff.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this position brings extensive experience from the Life and Health insurance industry. You possess deep knowledge of X-plan along with a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements specific to this industry. Your well-developed problem-solving skills coupled with an organised approach enable you to manage complex situations effectively. You remain calm under pressure while juggling multiple tasks simultaneously. Your interpersonal skills allow you to build strong relationships with both end users and vendors.
* Experience working in the Life and Health insurance industry.
* In-depth knowledge and experience in X-plan.
* An understanding of the requirements of the Life and Health industry.
* Well-developed problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
* Organised and initiative-taking, with the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
* Adept at building and maintaining relationships with end users and vendors.
