About the company: One of New Zealand’s leading professional services firms are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join their team! They offer a supportive, team-orientated culture with great growth and development opportunities for all employees. As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing generalist HR services to all staff, Managers and Partners. About the role: The Senior HR Advisor will be a part of the People & Culture team, responsible for contributing to all P&C duties, including Employment Relations, payroll, recruitment, and continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to P&C continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coach junior HR colleagues on solving ER issues
  • Provide guidance to HR Administrators regarding the end-to-end recruitment process
  • Ensure completion of documentation for payroll purposes
  • Contribute to and implement P&C frameworks and policies
  • Increase & enhance P&C’s contribution & presence to the wider business

Key Requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of correct processes when dealing with complex ER cases
  • Knowledge of relevant and current NZ employment legislation
  • Ability to build strong working relationships, internally and externally
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience in a HR generalist Advisory role is essential
  • Prior experience working in a professional services environment would be desirable
  • Tertiary qualification within HR is desirable
