About the company: Working within the public sector, you will be joining a dynamic team that is big on company culture and well being. They are looking to grow their HR team and are looking for an experienced HR professional to join as a Senior HR Advisor. As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing best-practice advice to managers. About the role: The Senior HR Advisor will be responsible for delivering high-quality HR advice, support, and solutions to managers. You will be required to coach and mentor managers in leading people and dealing with employment relation issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely, accurate, best practice advice and support to managers across all people matters
- Coach managers on solving ER issues
- Coordinate the delivery of specialist recruitment and health and safety services
- Responsible for supporting and advising up to 3 direct reports
- Contribute to all organisational projects as required
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of correct processes when dealing with complex ER cases
- Knowledge of relevant and current NZ employment legislation
- Previous experience leading, coaching and developing direct reports
- Ability to build strong working relationships, internally and externally
- Previous experience in an HR generalist Advisory role is essential
- Tertiary qualification within HR is desirable
