This role offers the opportunity to work in partnership with the HR Business Partner, managers, and employees in the assigned service to understand their operational aspects and HR needs. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the service in achieving its goals and operational requirements. This role also involves close collaboration with other Senior Advisors and wider P&C functional teams to ensure a flexible, comprehensive, and value-add HR service. What you'll do:

As a Senior Human Resources Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive operational and transactional HR advice. You will support both the People Partnering Lead and the HR Business Partner in delivering these services. Your understanding of the operational aspects and HR needs of your assigned service will be crucial in helping them achieve their goals. In addition, you will collaborate closely with other Senior Advisors and wider P&C functional teams to ensure a flexible, comprehensive, and value-add HR service. Furthermore, you will assist with implementing strategic HR projects as well as transformational change across the organisation.

Provide end-to-end operational and transactional HR advice and services
Support the People Partnering Lead, and the HR Business Partner in delivering these services
Understand the operational aspects and HR needs of the assigned service
Support the service in achieving its goals and operational requirements
Work closely with other Senior Advisors and wider P&C functional teams
Assist with the implementation of strategic HR projects as well as transformational change across the organisation


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Human Resources Advisor position brings a wealth of experience from a generalist HR advisory/partnering role. Your ability to engage with diverse groups coupled with your knowledge of HR operations, systems, and processes will be key to your success in this role. A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions, including an understanding of the significance and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, is essential. Whether you're already competent with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or are committed to starting your journey, we welcome your application. Your demonstrated relationship building, interpersonal, collaborative, and customer-focused skills will be highly valued.

Experience working in a generalist HR advisory/partnering role
Ability to engage with and influence diverse groups
Knowledge of HR operations, systems, and processes
Commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all actions
Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi's significance and obligations
Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or commitment to starting your journey
Demonstrated relationship building, interpersonal, collaborative, and customer-focused skills
