Reporting to the CEO, this newly created role is going to be a key force in taking this already successful organisation to the next level. We are seeking an experienced, innovative and strategic Professional Development Manager to lead the professional education and development programme to support the career pathways for members. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone requiring flexibility to work - the 20 hours per week can fit around you.

First up, you will be tasked with creating the learning framework to provide members with a career development pathway. This will include seminars, industry events, courses and external qualifications. Working with internal stakeholders, members and third party education providers, you will shape the pathway for professionals to access professional development to compliment their on-the-job experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the organisation's continuing professional development programme for members
  • Align offerings with membership segments and create new content relative to members within each segment
  • Manage the annual calendar of events such as the annual summit, breakfast seminars, third party courses
  • Work with third party education providers to collaborate on skills/qualifications to support members' development

Key Requirements:

  • Passion for and understanding of professional development and training
  • Self-starter with ability to make things happen
  • Strategic thinker who can also implement
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a close tight-knit team
