An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning Designer to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in designing education programmes and associated learning and assessment resources. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive environment that values respect, integrity, ingenuity, community, and ignition. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, committed to exceeding expectations, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
What You'll Do:
As a Learning Designer, you will be at the forefront of designing innovative education programmes. You will have the opportunity to engage with various stakeholders, contributing your expertise in educational pedagogical design principles. Your role will involve reviewing external resources, supporting innovation within the organisation, and executing special projects. Your contribution will be pivotal in implementing the annual business plan successfully.
* Conduct training needs analyses and design education programmes.
* Design, develop, and review learning and assessment resources.
* Engage effectively with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and external contractors.
* Develop, implement, and review learning and assessment design policies and procedures.
* Apply educational pedagogical design principles.
* Embed literacy and numeracy into programmes.
* Review and assess external resources.
* Support innovation within the organisation.
* Execute special projects as designated by the Manager Programmes.
* Contribute to the successful implementation of the annual business plan.
What You'll Bring:
The ideal Learning Designer will bring a wealth of experience from the education sector. You will have proven experience in instructional design and production of print and digital learning materials. Your ability to apply pedagogical principles across various learning environments will be crucial. You'll also bring strong relationship management skills along with an understanding of research methodologies. Exceptional communication skills are essential for this role.
* Ability to apply pedagogical principles in various learning environments.
* Experience in designing print and digital learning materials.
* Vocational education experience as well as exposure to articulate rise.
* Adaptability to change in priorities while meeting all work commitments.
* Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
* Ability to focus on critical work priorities and modify them as circumstances change.
* Experience in problem-solving using policies, guidelines, common sense, and past experiences.
* Positive attitude towards people of different cultures and backgrounds.
* Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
