Our client is seeking a Learning and Development Business Partner to join their team in Auckland. This role is pivotal in achieving the company's long-term success by creating tailored training programmes to expand the talents and skills of their employees. The focus of these initiatives is on developing leadership capabilities, management skills, productivity tools, personal career development, and adopting industry best practices.

What you'll do:

As a Learning and Development Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our client's workforce. You will be responsible for identifying learning needs that align with the company's objectives, planning and implementing effective training programmes, and evaluating their success. Your collaboration with subject matter experts will result in high-quality learning materials that enhance employee knowledge and skills. Additionally, your role will involve managing provider relationships to ensure quality, time, and cost measures are met.

  • Identify learning and development needs aligned with the company’s goals
  • Plan, coordinate and implement effective training programmes
  • Evaluate the success of learning and development initiatives through feedback analysis
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create high-quality internal learning materials
  • Provide facilitated learning, coaching and mentoring as required
  • Manage provider relationships ensuring quality, time and cost measures are met

What you bring:


The ideal candidate for the Learning and Development Business Partner role brings a wealth of experience in designing and delivering impactful learning programs. You have demonstrated your ability to assess training needs accurately and develop solutions that meet those needs effectively. Your strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills enable you to connect with various stakeholders within the organisation. Experience in implementing and managing LMS along with proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools is essential for this role. Lastly, your up-to-date knowledge of learning technologies will keep our client at the forefront of L&D trends.

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering learning and development programs
  • Ability to assess training needs and develop appropriate solutions
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in implementing and managing learning management systems (LMS)
  • Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools and multimedia content creation
  • Up-to-date knowledge of learning technologies and trends in the L&D field
