Human Resource Contractor

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resource Business Partner for an exciting contract role based in Christchurch. This hands-on position will see you involved in everything from day-to-day HR admin requirements to reviewing contracts, maintaining HR systems, and providing advice and guidance to managers ensuring processes and procedures are followed. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where your ability to learn new systems and processes quickly will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Human Resource Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in the organisation's HR operations. Your day might involve answering queries about collective agreements, reviewing documents, updating HR systems or ensuring managers are following due process. Your ability to work at pace, learn quickly and use your initiative will be key to your success in this role.

  • Handle day-to-day HR administrative requirements efficiently
  • Review contracts meticulously, ensuring all details are accurate and up-to-date
  • Maintain HR systems effectively, keeping all records current
  • Understand collective agreements and Unions, providing relevant support when necessary
  • Support managers with resolving employment relation matters
  • Work autonomously, managing a high volume of tasks effectively
  • Learn new systems and processes quickly, adapting to changes with ease

Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this Human Resource Business Partner role will bring a wealth of HR experience. You'll be comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, managing a high volume of tasks effectively. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to provide clear advice and guidance to managers. Above all, your ability to learn new systems and processes quickly will set you apart.

  • Proven experience in a similar HR role
  • Strong knowledge and proven experience in employment relations
  • Knowledge of SAP and Power BI would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear advice and guidance
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
