Solution Architect

This role will require you to manage complex environments while serving as a technical champion for their customers. What you'll do:

As a Solution Architect, your primary responsibility will be managing complex Azure, OpenShift and Kubernetes environments. You'll work closely with various teams to deliver Kubernetes and Azure PaaS/IaaS solutions. Your expertise in capturing entire infrastructure as code will be crucial in this role. Additionally, you'll be responsible for analysing training needs, developing operating models, and ensuring integration with IT compliance, regulatory, and cybersecurity requirements.

• Design and engineer hybrid cloud reference architectures
• Develop and manage Kubernetes clusters for critical business applications
• Utilise automation tools like Terraform extensively within Azure IaaS
• Collaborate with application, engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver solutions
• Capture entire infrastructure as code
• Provision and manage systems using Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc.
• Analyse training needs and develop operating models
• Ensure integration with IT compliance, regulatory, and cybersecurity requirements

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Solution Architect position brings at least 8 years of experience with Azure cloud and Red Hat OpenShift. You have deep knowledge of hybrid cloud reference architecture, private/public cloud migration, microservices architecture, and hybrid cloud integration. Your proficiency in DevOps and Agile practices sets you apart. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for articulating solutions and demonstrating value to clients. You're able to work independently or lead teams to address complex customer requirements. A keen eye for detail ensures you deliver high-quality work consistently.

• Minimum of 8 years' experience with Azure cloud and Red Hat OpenShift
• Expertise in hybrid cloud reference architecture, private/public cloud migration, microservices architecture, and hybrid cloud integration
• Deep experience in Azure IaaS automation using tools like Terraform
• Proficiency in DevOps and Agile practices
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or lead teams to address complex customer requirements
• High attention to detail
• Cloud Architect Certified (Azure) and/or Red Hat Certified
