Our client is actively seeking a Practice Manager who will be the nurturing force behind a team of professionals, fostering technical excellence and promoting professional growth within their specific domain. This role is crucial in the technology department by guiding the acquisition of the right capabilities, recruiting the right people, and overseeing ongoing people's development. The successful candidate will work across Technology Services under the guidance of the Head to ensure the right capabilities are available to implement Technology Services Strategy and Roadmap. * Lead and manage a team of professionals * Play a crucial role in the technology department * Work across Technology Services

What you'll do:

As a Practice Manager, you will play an instrumental role in leading a team of professionals, nurturing their technical excellence, and fostering professional growth within their specific domain. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of work within the Practice, including code reviews and adherence to best practices. Your excellent mentoring skills will be utilised as you provide guidance to Practice members, enhancing their skills and career development. Your role will also involve facilitating knowledge sharing sessions, encouraging continuous learning across the practice, fostering collaboration both within the Practice, across other practices, and with other parts of the organisation.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Practice members
  • Maintain and share deep technical knowledge in the specific domain
  • Ensure high standards of work within the Practice
  • Assist in the allocation of Practice members to ARTs and Teams
  • Conduct performance reviews and support personal development plans
  • Lead the recruitment process and ensure effective onboarding of new Practice members
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and encourage continuous learning across the practice
  • Foster collaboration both within the Practice, across other practices and with other parts of the organization
  • Encourage and lead innovation initiatives within the Practice
  • Establish a feedback loop for continuous improvement in practices and processes


What you bring:
