Specialist Security Architect (Contract)
Are you an experienced Security Architect who thrives on shaping secure‑by‑design solutions within complex enterprise environments? We’re supporting a financial services client seeking a senior specialist to provide expert security architecture guidance across large‑scale digital initiatives.
This is a 6-month contract (likely to be extended) role offering the chance to influence high‑impact technology decisions, collaborate with domain experts, and uplift security maturity across a broad solution landscape.
About the Role:
As a Specialist Security Architect, you will play a key role in reviewing solution architectures, identifying potential threat vectors, and prescribing effective security controls. You’ll partner closely with architecture, delivery, and risk teams to ensure systems and applications are designed and delivered with strong security foundations.
You’ll be involved in:
- Conducting security assessments and threat modelling
- Reviewing solution designs and validating alignment with security principles
- Recommending security controls across cloud and on‑prem environments
- Interpreting penetration test outcomes and guiding remediation
- Applying Zero Trust principles to enterprise solutions
- Supporting compliance with relevant regulatory standards
- Providing expert advisory to technical and business stakeholders
