Intermediate Full Stack Developer

We’re partnering with a large enterprise organisation delivering a modern SAAS Platform used by thousands of customers across digital channels. You’ll be joining a high-performing engineering team working across backend services, event streaming, cloud-native infrastructure, and modern front-end applications.

What You’ll Be Doing

Own Delivery

• Take ownership of well-defined features and technical initiatives from design through to production

• Deliver high-quality solutions in a timely and reliable way

• Contribute to production support and on-call activities to maintain system reliability

Engineering & Architecture

• Design and build scalable backend services using Java & Spring Boot

• Develop and maintain responsive front-end components using React

• Build and manage containerised workloads in Kubernetes environments

• Contribute to event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka

• Support CI/CD pipelines through Jenkins

Quality, Risk & Reliability

• Write resilient, observable, and secure systems

• Identify and surface risks early

• Participate in code reviews and quality processes to maintain engineering standards

• Ensure performance, maintainability, and operational health in everything you build

Collaboration & Growth

• Work closely with cross-functional partners and fellow engineers

• Communicate clearly and constructively

• Share knowledge through pairing, documentation, and mentoring

• Seek feedback and continuously grow your capability

What You’ll Bring

• 6–8 years’ professional engineering experience

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Java & Spring Boot

  • Kafka (event-driven systems)

  • React

  • Kubernetes

  • Jenkins / CI/CD pipelines

• Experience working in cloud-native, production environments

• Ability to independently deliver features of moderate scope

• A strong reliability and quality mindset

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent demonstrated capability
