Security Architect (14 month contract)
This is an exceptional opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact by enhancing data security, strengthening third-party risk management, and implementing advanced exposure management solutions. You will be part of a supportive team environment where your expertise will be valued and your input will help shape the future of security architecture within the organisation.
What you'll do:
As a Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the organisation’s security capability uplift programme. Your day-to-day responsibilities will centre around defining robust architectures for both third-party risk workstreams and intelligence tools, ensuring these solutions integrate seamlessly with existing systems like LogicGate and Jira. You will collaborate with project managers to translate complex features into manageable tasks, backfill the Security Architecture Team when required, and provide expert advice on data loss prevention strategies. By engaging with stakeholders across departments, you’ll help drive process improvements in third-party risk management while supporting exposure management initiatives. Your documentation skills will ensure clarity in architectural decisions, while your participation in knowledge sharing sessions will foster an environment of communal learning. Success in this role hinges on your ability to connect with others, share insights generously, and approach challenges with empathy and consideration.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Security Architect position brings proven experience from previous roles involving complex security architecture design. Your familiarity with third-party risk management tools such as LogicGate equips you to create effective solutions that address organisational needs. You possess strong integration skills that enable you to connect enterprise applications like Jira with new security tools seamlessly. Your collaborative nature shines through when assisting project managers in breaking down features into actionable tasks; you thrive in environments where teamwork is valued. Your deep understanding of data loss prevention methods ensures you can advise colleagues on best practices while supporting exposure management efforts. Clear communication is one of your strengths—your documentation makes it easy for others to follow architectural decisions. You approach process improvement activities with empathy, always considering how changes affect those involved. Finally, your commitment to ongoing learning means you actively seek out training opportunities that keep your skills current.
