Senior Technical Business Analyst (12-month FTC)

Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in IT infrastructure, software and applications, and cloud computing. The ideal candidate will have solid business analysis experience, strong facilitation skills, and a proven track record in leading agile teams, particularly Scrum

What you'll do:

• Understanding and documenting existing processes, as well as designing new ones
• Experience with project management tools like Jira
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban
• Ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data
• Acting as a liaison between the development teams, application support, and business stakeholders
• Assisting with documenting business requirements to ensure clear task definition
• Communicating project progress, issues, and risks effectively to the business stakeholders
• Coordinating the handover of project outputs to Application Support and Operations
• Ensuring documentation, runbooks, and support models are prepared for BAU handover
• Maintaining risk logs and proactively managing mitigation plans

What you bring:

• Strong facilitation skills
• Solid Business Analysis experience
• Proven track record in leading agile teams (Scrum)
• Experience around IT Infrastructure, Software and Applications, Cloud etc.
• Knowledge of IBM Power Platform, IBM i, GCP, Kubernetes
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with Data Visualization Tools (Power BI)
• Familiarity with Excel/MS Office
• Understanding of Cloud Computing platforms like IBM Cloud, Google Cloud
• Programming Languages (Python/R) skills would be valuable
• Datadog experience
• Financial services experience could be beneficial
