Senior Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
· Design business processes and requirements to support frontline staff in delivering essential services.
· Engage stakeholders through workshops, interviews, and documentation reviews to identify needs and define solutions.
· Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and regulatory obligations.
· Model detailed business processes (Level 3–4) while ensuring consistency with higher-level frameworks (Level 0–2).
· Support solution delivery phases, including build, testing, deployment, and post-deployment activities to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
What You Bring:
· Proven experience in large-scale technology upgrades or process redesigns within complex organisations.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and clarify ambiguities.
· Advanced skills in process modelling and stakeholder engagement techniques such as workshops and interviews.
· A collaborative mindset with a commitment to knowledge sharing and teamwork.
· Experienced in Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence (or similar tools) to manage and trace requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.
· New Zealand government experience
