Senior Information Analyst

Our client is seeking a Senior Information Analyst to play a pivotal role in enhancing decision-making processes through data analysis and collaboration with key stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to work within the health sector, providing analysis to drive insights and implementing various data projects.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Information Analyst, you will be at the heart of our client's decision-making processes. You will be responsible for developing self-service reports, providing insightful analysis, and leading various data projects. Your role will involve working closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure business continuity and process improvement. You will also have the opportunity to provide training on reporting tools and resources. This role requires a deep understanding of your customers' needs, allowing you to anticipate their information requirements effectively.

  • Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders.
  • Enhance user access to information through self-service reporting.
  • Interpret user requirements, design, and build Power BI reports that meet their needs.
  • Provide training on reports, reporting tools and maintain relevant self-service resources.
  • Support management decisions with high-quality analysis and advice.
  • Lead the completion of priority data analytics projects.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, data engineers, and subject matter experts.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Information Analyst position brings a wealth of experience in business or information analysis, preferably within the health industry. With advanced PowerBI & SQL expertise, you are adept at deriving insights from data to answer varied management questions. Your strong communication skills enable you to interpret vague or unclear customer requests effectively, meeting their true needs. Your excellent problem-solving skills coupled with your strong business acumen make you an asset in any decision-making process.

  • Relevant experience in business or information analysis preferably within the health industry.
  • Advanced PowerBI & SQL expertise.
  • Ability to derive insight from data and answer varied management questions.
  • Strong skills in interpreting and clarifying vague or unclear customer requests to meet their true needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analysis simply.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of management questions and decision drivers.
