Contract D365 F&O Fuctional Consultant (x2)

We’re looking for an experienced D365 Functional Consultant to join a large-scale finance transformation programme, with a strong focus on Procure-to-Pay (P2P). This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with finance and procurement stakeholders to redesign processes, improve controls, and unlock automation across D365 Finance & Operations.

You’ll play a key role in shaping how the business manages purchasing, suppliers, invoicing, and approvals — moving from manual processes to a more streamlined, automated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional design across D365 Finance (F&O) with a focus on Procure-to-Pay
• Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation
• Configure and optimise:
  • Approval workflows (including delegations, escalations, notifications)
  • Purchase requisition and purchase order processes
  • Vendor and supplier management
  • Invoice processing and 3-way matching
• Improve financial visibility through reporting
• Work closely with technical teams to translate requirements into functional specifications
• Support testing, deployment, and user adoption

About You

• Proven experience as a D365 Functional Consultant (Finance & Operations)
• Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes
• Experience configuring workflows and approvals in D365
• Solid understanding of finance operations, controls, and compliance
• Ability to engage stakeholders and drive process improvements
• Experience working on transformation or optimisation projects

Nice to have

• Experience with invoice automation / OCR tools
• Exposure to procurement platforms or supplier portals
• Experience in large or complex enterprise environments
