An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Network Engineer to join a dynamic team in South Auckland. This contract role, spanning six months, offers the chance to work on thrilling projects within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to utilise their expertise in Cisco DNE and Cisco ISE, as well as general network engineering tools, switches, routers, wireless, and Aruba. This hybrid role promises a blend of remote and on-site work, providing flexibility and balance.

What you'll do:


As a Network Engineer, you will play an integral role in maintaining and enhancing the company's network infrastructure. Your proficiency in Cisco DNE and Cisco ISE will be crucial in ensuring optimal network performance. You will also handle switches and routers, implement wireless solutions, and use your knowledge of Aruba to further improve the network infrastructure. Working collaboratively with a dedicated team, you will contribute significantly to various exciting projects.

  • Utilise your expertise in Cisco DNE and Cisco ISE to enhance network performance
  • Work with general network engineering tools to maintain and troubleshoot network systems
  • Manage switches and routers to ensure seamless connectivity
  • Implement wireless solutions to support business operations
  • Leverage your knowledge of Aruba to optimise network infrastructure
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver exciting projects within the stipulated time-frame

What you bring:


The ideal candidate for this Network Engineer position brings a wealth of experience in network engineering, particularly with Cisco DNE and Cisco ISE. Your proficiency in using general network engineering tools, managing switches and routers, implementing wireless solutions, and applying your knowledge of Aruba will be key to your success in this role. Your ability to collaborate effectively within a team will enable you to contribute significantly to project delivery.

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a strong understanding of Cisco DNE and Cisco ISE
  • Proficiency in using general network engineering tools for maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Experience managing switches and routers for seamless connectivity
  • Knowledge of implementing wireless solutions in a business environment
  • Familiarity with Aruba and its application in optimising network infrastructure
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team to deliver projects on time
