What you'll do:
As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks. You will ensure that our infrastructure is secure, monitored, and continuously available. Your responsibilities will also include contributing to the firm's information security management system (ISMS), managing firewall configuration, database support, participating in technology projects, and maintaining clear documentation as required by the ISMS.
Design, implement and maintain network and cloud solutions.
Ensure system availability (24/7).
Conduct regular health checks on all systems.
Upgrade systems with new releases.
Troubleshoot issues and outages.
Adhere to company policies and the information security management system.
Ensure identified vulnerabilities are resolved in a timely fashion.
Work with Information Security Consultant to continually improve security and risk profile.
Implement, maintain and continually improve high availability disaster recovery programme.
Monitor backups of both cloud and on-premise solutions.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Systems Administrator role will have extensive experience in systems and network administration/management in a LAN/WAN environment. You should have experience with Microsoft 365 and other SAAS applications as well as Windows server, Active Directory, DNS, Microsoft SCCM, PowerShell. Previous exposure to implementing and managing routers, WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, wireless and mobile technologies is essential. Experience supporting a large-scale enterprise document management system would be advantageous.
Experience in systems and network administration/management.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and other SAAS applications.
Experience with Windows server, Active Directory, DNS, Microsoft SCCM, PowerShell.
Previous exposure to implementing and managing routers, WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, wireless and mobile technologies.
Experience supporting a large-scale enterprise document management system.
Proficient with building/configuring networked Microsoft Windows client devices.
A clean and full driver’s licence.
