Senior Linux SRE

Join a leading bank as a Sr. Linux SRE for a 3-month contract. Leverage your Linux administration skills, RHEL certification, and SRE experience to support and enhance critical systems. Ideal candidates will have a background in financial applications, networking expertise, and observability tool proficiency, particularly in Elastic Search and Kibana. Microsoft Azure experience is essential for business-as-usual tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Linux systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement SRE best practices to optimize system reliability and efficiency.
• Provide application support within the financial sector, addressing incidents and performing root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with network teams to manage on-prem and cloud-based infrastructures.
• Utilize observability tools, primarily Elastic Search and Kibana, for monitoring and analysis.
• Engage in routine business-as-usual tasks on Microsoft Azure, ensuring seamless operations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven Linux administration experience, with a focus on RHEL environments.
• SRE experience with a track record of implementing reliability engineering principles.
• RHEL Engineer certification.
• Experience supporting applications preferrably in the financial sector.
• Strong networking skills, encompassing both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Proficiency in observability tools, (preferrably Elastic Search and Kibana).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
