Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer

Seeking a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to join one of our Client's team on a 6 months initial contract and to participate in a large transformation programme, managing and maintaining their network infrastructure.

Our client is seeking a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an initial 6-month contract with potential for extension, reporting directly to the Infrastructure Manager. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage and maintain network infrastructure including Cisco DNE and ISE, Windows 11, Intune, and Operations technology. The role also includes flexible working arrangements with one day work-from-home.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure including Cisco DNE and ISE
• Handle server hardware deployment & racking
• Oversee backup scheduling & maintenance
• Operate in an engineering capacity to ensure smooth network operations
• Manage network switches and wireless systems
• Handle generic networking tasks efficiently
• Maintain vendor relationships

Skills and experience required:

• Proven experience in managing and maintaining network infrastructure including Cisco DNE and ISE
• Experience with server hardware deployment & racking
• Knowledge of backup scheduling & maintenance procedures
• Ability to operate in an engineering capacity to ensure smooth network operations
• Experience in managing network switches and wireless systems
• Efficiency in handling generic networking tasks
• Experience in maintaining vendor relationships
