Infrastructure Engineer - Azure

A respected organisation in the agricultural and machinery sector is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance its IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure Cloud technologies.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and evolving the company’s infrastructure environment, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on cloud migration, modernisation, and automation initiatives.

The Role:

• Manage and support on-premise and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft Azure
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across servers, networks, and cloud services
• Implement and maintain security protocols and disaster recovery solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver infrastructure projects
• Support hybrid environments and contribute to cloud-first strategies
• Document infrastructure processes and maintain system configurations

Ideal Person:

• Proven experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity)
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization (e.g., Hyper-V or VMware)
• Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Terraform, etc.) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system reliability
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
