Technical Lead - Microsoft 365/Microsoft Teams
Seeking an experienced Technical Lead to support a large‑scale Digital Workspace programme, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams for a 6-month contract. This role is suited to a hands‑on technical leader with deep Microsoft Teams expertise, particularly in remediation, troubleshooting, testing, and post‑migration stabilisation within complex enterprise environments.
As the Technical Lead, you’ll play a key role in ensuring Microsoft Teams is stable, secure, and fit for purpose across the organisation. Your focus will be on solving real, complex technical problems, not just designing solutions on paper.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical leadership across the Digital Workspace / M365 environment
- Acting as the subject matter expert for Microsoft Teams, including complex issue resolution
- Performing Teams remediation, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis
- Supporting post‑migration stabilisation, testing, and defect resolution
- Troubleshooting Teams calling, meetings, and collaboration scenarios
- Working closely with engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues
- Contributing to technical governance, standards, and best practice
Essential experience:
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Architect, or Senior Engineer in M365 environments
- Deep, hands‑on Microsoft Teams expertise, including administration and troubleshooting
- Strong Windows 11 Microsoft 365 background (Entra ID / Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Experience with Teams migrations, remediation, or post‑migration support
- Strong problem‑solving skills in enterprise‑scale environments
