Contract Security Analyst - Cyber

We are currently partnering with a leading financial services organisation to secure an experienced Security Analyst – Cyber for an initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact cyber security programme focused on uplifting security capabilities and protecting customer environments.

About the Role

You will be working within the Information & Cyber Security domain, supporting a key initiative to remediate gaps in secret management across the organisation.

Working closely with the Cyber Delivery Lead, IAM teams, and system owners, you’ll play a hands-on role in planning and delivering critical security improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Cyber Delivery Lead to define and manage a backlog of remediation activities
• Plan remediation approaches using established frameworks
• Identify and remediate gaps in secret management
• Collaborate with system owners and Identity & Access Management (IAM) teams
• Support risk management and ensure compliance with security and safety standards

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

• 2–3 years’ experience in cyber security
• Experience within banking or financial services environments
• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Understanding of system accounts and IT systems/processes

Desirable:

• Cyber security certifications (e.g. CISSP or similar)
• Experience working on risk or compliance-driven projects
